National Seminar and Talkshow Civil Engineering Days 2025 x KAMAJAYA: Driving Indonesia’s Infrastructure Transformation Through Human Resources, Technology, and Sustainability
The Department of Civil Engineering at Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) successfully hosted the National Seminar and Talkshow titled “Transformation of Infrastructure Development in Indonesia: Human Resources, Technology & Sustainable Development” on May 18, 2025, as part of the Civil Engineering Days 2025 x KAMAJAYA series. The hybrid event, held at UAJY’s Campus 2 and simultaneously broadcast via Zoom Meeting, brought together academics, industry professionals, and government representatives in a strategic forum to chart a new course for Indonesia’s infrastructure future.
The event opened with welcoming speeches from Dr. Ir. Viby Indrayana, MM., IPU., ASEAN.Eng., ACPE., Chairman of PP KAMAJAYA and Director of PGKP at the IKN Authority, and Prof. Dr. Ir. AM. Ade Lisantono, M.Eng., IPU., ASEAN.Eng., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at UAJY. Both emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration, technological innovation, and human capital readiness in addressing the nation’s future development challenges.
One of the most anticipated sessions featured Muhammad Fadholi Afinanto, S.T., Chief Technology Officer of PT Berdikari Teknologi Indonesia (Autoconz), who presented the cutting-edge 3D Construction Printing (3DCP) technology. This solution offers a breakthrough approach to housing construction by enabling faster, more cost-effective, and environmentally friendly building processes. As a pioneer in this field in Indonesia, Autoconz has developed 3D concrete printing machines such as Gayatri, Nayanika, Ekalaya, and Bimantara, each designed to meet the country’s critical challenges, including a housing backlog of 15 million units and a high volume of non-recyclable construction waste. With their 3DCP mortar having achieved a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certification score of 68.29%, Autoconz is strongly positioned to support a competitive and sustainable national construction industry.
Additional speakers included Dr. Ir. Tri Mulyani Sunarharum, S.T., who addressed the necessity of integrating sustainability principles throughout infrastructure life cycles; Bertha Maheswari, S.T., an influencer who provided valuable insights into the role of public communication in fostering the adoption of new technologies; and Dr. Brian Pratistha, S.E., M.M. from the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), who outlined Indonesia’s long-term national infrastructure strategies. The entire discussion was moderated by Sinta Dewayani Putri, S.T., who kept the conversation engaging and impactful.
Through this seminar, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta and KAMAJAYA have demonstrated their proactive role in fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and government to drive infrastructure transformation in Indonesia. The event served as concrete evidence that technological innovation, human capital development, and sustainability are the key pillars for building a more resilient, adaptive, and inclusive infrastructure future.
